Tribal Fusion Bellydance is a modern Western style of belly dance created by fusing American tribal style belly dance with American cabaret belly dance. In addition to elements of "Egyptian" or "Cabaret" belly dance, it incorporates traditional forms of movement such as popping, hip hop, flamenco, Kathak, Odissi, and other folk and classical dance styles.
The music used is not limited to Arabic music, but includes a variety of genres.
